Words on Sunday.........

Horner Valley, Somerset

All nature has a feeling: woods, fields, brooks
Are life eternal: and in silence they
Speak happiness beyond the reach of books;
There's nothing mortal in them; their decay
Is the green life of change; to pass away
And come again in blooms revivified.
Its birth was heaven, eternal it its stay,
And with the sun and moon shall still abide
Beneath their day and night and heaven wide.

  3. Love the verse .
    There is a brook like your header at the bottom of where we called as children Blood Hill . It's a very steep curving hill . We rode our bikes down it , terrified . There is a small roundabout at the bottom . We had to swerve at the bottom in case there would be a car passing.
    The brook , the roundabout is still there .
    I'm still here to tell the tale . The village at the bottom of the hill is called Kirby Muxloe . I still live in the next village.
