Little Bo Peep

It's rare I don't finish a project - but this poor girl has been hanging around  since September and  I decided to have a purge and complete her! She's another of my Nursery Crymes designs.

I finished the stitching and started to put her into a panel for a cushion.

She was designed as an outline project, but I got a bit bored and decided to partly complete her with  some more interesting filling stitches and leave other parts clear. I quite like the effect. She should make a good companion to Red Riding Hood and Miss Muffett!

  2. So cute! I like the effect too. Is that a padded satin stitch you used for her hair? Her hair is perfect!

  3. I agree - it's all very well to talk of the purity of line, but sometimes you just have to go ahead and add some colour and form!
